Full-Service Seasonal Care

Irrigation Maintenance in Kodak & Across East Tennessee

Some owners want the whole year handled — start-up in the spring, a mid-season check-up, and a winterization blowout in the fall — without thinking about it. Chris keeps the system running through every season so the lawn stays healthy and the pipes stay protected. You deal with one person who knows your yard from year to year.

Rental and vacation property owners: if you are not on site through the season, maintenance matters most. A system left running while the property sits empty wastes water, and one left full over winter cracks pipes. Chris handles the seasonal care so the irrigation is one less thing to manage remotely.

What year-round maintenance gives you

Start-up, mid-season, and winterization handled — nothing to remember or schedule
Small problems caught at the mid-season check before they brown a patch of lawn
Run times adjusted through the year so you are not overwatering in spring or underwatering in July
Chris remembers your system and your shut-off from year to year
No need to be on site — ideal for owners who travel or rent the property
How Chris handles it

Three visits through the year

Visit 1

Spring start-up

Chris slowly pressurizes the system, walks every zone, re-aims the heads, inspects the backflow, and programs the controller for the start of the growing season. More on the start-up is on the spring start-up page.

Visit 2

Mid-season check and adjustment

Heads settle and nozzles shift through the summer. Chris walks the system again, re-aims anything that has drifted, clears clogged screens, and tweaks the run times so the lawn stays green through the hot months without wasting water.

Visit 3

Fall winterization blowout

Before the first hard freeze, Chris clears every pipe and fitting with compressed air and shuts down the backflow device. The full blowout process is on the winterization page.

Each visit is tied to what the season demands — you are not paying for a generic check-up that does the same thing in April and October. The spring start-up is detailed on the start-up page, and the fall blowout is on the winterization page.

The difference between a system that lasts and one that needs constant repairs is usually whether someone is paying attention to it through the year. A head that shifted in June wastes water all summer if nobody catches it, and a backflow device left full in November is a cracked part in March. Maintenance is how you avoid both. Chris keeps a record of your system so each visit builds on the last instead of starting over.

Maintenance questions

What does full-service irrigation maintenance include?

A spring start-up, a mid-season check and adjustment, and a fall winterization blowout — all handled every year so the system is looked after through every season.

Why is a mid-season check important?

Heads settle and shift over the growing season, nozzles clog, and spray patterns drift. A mid-season check catches those small problems before they waste water or brown a patch of lawn.

Do you maintain irrigation for rental and vacation properties?

Yes. Rental and vacation property owners who are not on site rely on this especially — Chris keeps the system running and winterized without the owner needing to be there.

Do I have to be home for the maintenance visits?

No. Chris can handle the seasonal visits while you are away, which is why so many rental and second-home owners in Sevier County use the maintenance service.

Do you offer irrigation maintenance in Sevierville and Knoxville?

Yes. A Drip Sprinklers maintains irrigation systems across Sevier, Knox, Jefferson, Blount, and Hamblen counties from our base in Kodak. Call or text (865) 806-4619.
